As a Solution Design Engineer, you will be part of the Sales Support Team and will support our sales engineers in complex international projects.
You will analyse technical customer queries, check and validate basic data, perform capacity calculations and translate this into well-thought-out concepts and 2D layouts. In addition, you will make global cost price calculations and help monitor the technical accuracy and margins of our quotations.
You will work closely with sales and engineering and act as a critical but constructive sparring partner.
Your tasks
You will analyse and validate technical input (Excel, basic data, calculations).
You will perform capacity and feasibility calculations.
You will develop concepts and 2D layouts in AutoCad.
You will make global cost calculations using an internal tool.
You will advise the sales engineers on technical matters.
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in (Electrical) Mechanical Engineering or equivalent through experience.
Technical background in mechanics and/or automation.
Good knowledge of (technical) French and English.
Knowledge of AutoCad 2D or similar.
Analytical and creative thinking skills.
Assertive, proactive and structured.
Willing to travel occasionally within Europe.
